Forward motion Looking forward PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD flash forward
step forward power forward come forward
The start of the New Year comes with a bright energy and a refreshed spirit to move into. This year I’ve claimed the word FORWARD as my word of focus. I love the idea of motion and energy contained within the word forward. The idealism of the word forward, the pull towards newness and the reach into the future while steadfastly in the present – all call out to me. I love all the elements of the word forward!
Energy, motion and direction ===>FORWARD!
As a mom, the concept of forward speaks as loud and clear as a gong. Watching your children grow and hurdle towards their futures each day, you can only hold on and step forward accepting the breakneck speed at which they change. No reason to waste energy fighting it, but flow with tides of those little humans developing daily. They embody energy and motion, so it’s a no brainer to apply to my personal life and family experience! Forward as a concept will play a substantial role in advancing my professional goals within myself and with how I relate with my clients for this new year as well.
Forward into the REAL estate market.
As a Realtor, I’m very frequently asked, How’s the market? Quick and easy answer – its strong, fast paced, high demand, low inventory, still a great time to buy or sell, no we don’t see or expect a housing bubble forming or fixing to burst, so don’t be waiting on it!
But the reality is the answer is much more REAL and much more about YOU individually! How you move forward in the real estate market depends greatly on your unique needs in the present and your goals for the future! How we layout your plan depends on your current position in the market – whether as a first-time buyer, seasoned homeowners looking to move up the property ladder with a buy/sell transaction or buyers looking to re-settle in a new community.
As first-time buyers just entering the housing market, we’d want to consider how to put your best foot forward. Our focus for you centers around how to best use your funds available, how to utilize the continued low interest rates to your advantage and how to move forward confidently into a challenging, swift and competitive market. The best aces for your win come in the form of an attentive and communicative lender to partner with (I know a few excellent choices!) and through that partnership having a strong command of your finances going into the intense housing market. And as your advocate and educator, I make sure you know the best ways to utilize contract terms to meet your needs and win, even in a competitive market!
Typically for homeowners ready to move to their next home, some life milestone, transition or expansion draws their attention to their next home purchase. And that’s the easy, dreamy part! The often trickier element to taking that step is the hard work and unknowns of selling their current home. The moving up buyers/sellers need a flash forward! For sellers to feel confident moving forward they need projections of what their home sale can net, what needs to be done to maximize their home’s market value and to understand each step of the multifaceted process. When armed with a plan and their questions answered, move up buyers/sellers can feel clarity and ready to step forward!
Welcoming new folks into the Puget Sound area is not only my specialty but one of my favorite aspects of real estate! The joy of anticipation and eager anxiety new to area buyers experience taps into both my educator skills and my sense of compassion – moving into a new community (state or country!) is not for the faint of heart! But these new settlers and I share the same optimism, as they look forward to exploring their new area, I equally look forward to helping them find home in their new community. What’s more forward seeking than a new direction for life!
Even when we’re ready to face forward, and approach the future, unfortunately it still doesn’t come with a crystal ball! But I’ve got the next best thing to share with you – our brilliant Windermere Economist Matthew Gardner extending his reasoned and researched analysis of the new year’s economy and the impacts expected in the real estate market. Give it a listen!
When you’re ready to step forward into your 2022 goals surrounding your home present or future, I’m ready to meet you and help you power forward into turning your ambitions into realities!
